So Who Am I And Why Should You Work With Me?

My name is Tim Russell and I am the director of Multipart Finance – a small mortgage broking company based in North Sydney NSW.

And the reason why you should work with me is because of the amount of times I have already failed…

Now I don’t choose the word “fail” lightly and I don’t mean it to a bad thing either.

To me, failing is the only way you can experience growth and learn new skills. John C. Maxwell in his book – Failing Forward: How to Make The Most of Your Mistakes tends to agree with me. He notes, “Recognise that you will spend much of your life making mistakes. If you can take action and keep making mistakes, you gain experience.”

Now in my 7th year in the finance industry, I must be one of the most experienced brokers out there due to the number of times I’ve failed!

I mean, I’ve failed in how I communicate with my clients, choosing a lender, the sales process, compliance, loan documents etc etc.

You give me a scenario in the mortgage broking profession and I bet I can show you how I’ve failed at it!

However, the crucial thing to understand here is that every mistake I’ve made, I’ve learned from and I’ve put systems in place to ensure I don’t repeat that mistake again.
